The Crisis Center is a joint project between Panhandle Health District, Kootenai Health and Heritage Health. Staff members care for those that come to the center and help facilitate outside resources before each person leaves. The center is free, safe, private, and voluntary.

Project HomeShare, Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing, is a program that can assist financially in order to keep individuals and families in their homes, who would otherwise become homeless and help those who are already in homeless shelters or living on the street  to get into permanent housing.
