Annual Overdose Awareness Candlelight Vigil

Every year we honor the ones we've lost too soon to fentanyl poisoning. Please come share your stories about your loved ones. Their lives mattered. Their stories remain. They are not forgotten. Together, we can bring hope and healing to our community. All are welcome - we welcome families, friends, and community members to stand together in love, remembrance, and hope. Supervision focuses on strengthening ethical peer practices, maintaining healthy boundaries, improving documentation and service delivery, addressing challenging situations, and supporting continued growth as a recovery professional.

Recovery Coach Training - Virtual Evening Series - 2026

This virtual evening series course is constructed to prepare potential coaches with the skills, resources, and knowledge to achieve certification, Designed to be completed across multiple weeks, this class will take place on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings from 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM, and maintains an intense schedule each evening to provide the robust skill building necessary. ALICE Task Force	A regional coalition addressing poverty and financial hardship. 208 Recovery participates to connect individuals in recovery with economic stability resources and community support networks.
Idaho Law Enforcement Diversion Meetings	Collaborative meetings between law enforcement, treatment providers, and recovery organizations to develop diversion pathways that connect individuals with substance use disorders to care instead of incarceration.
Region 1 Homeless Coalition	A multi-agency coalition working to reduce homelessness across North Idaho. 208 Recovery engages to ensure people in recovery have access to stable housing and wraparound services.
Idaho Health Policy Webinar Series	Statewide webinars covering health policy developments affecting behavioral health, substance use treatment, and recovery support services in Idaho.
Idaho Peer Recovery Support Work Group	A statewide work group focused on strengthening peer recovery support services, certification standards, and advocacy for people in recovery across Idaho.
SPIN - Sandpoint	Sandpoint Partners in Need - a community coalition addressing social determinants of health and basic needs for vulnerable residents in the Sandpoint area.
SNAP Quarterly Training	Quarterly training sessions for Substance Use, Nicotine, and Alcohol Prevention professionals, focused on evidence-based prevention strategies across North Idaho.
Criminal Justice Continuum of Care	Cross-sector meetings connecting criminal justice, treatment, and recovery support providers to improve outcomes for justice-involved individuals with substance use disorders.
Idaho Recovery Community Organization Leadership Meeting	Statewide leadership convenings for recovery community organizations to share best practices, coordinate advocacy, and strengthen the peer recovery support infrastructure across Idaho.
Day of Hope Meetings	Planning and coordination meetings for the annual Day of Hope event, bringing together community partners to provide resources, services, and connection for individuals and families in need.
208 Recovery Board Meetings	Regular meetings of the 208 Recovery board of directors to provide organizational oversight, strategic direction, and governance for the nonprofit.
